It all began with
a lost watch

I had an all-black quartz ‘Condotti’, that served me well until I woke up one day and could no longer find it. I walked around without the familiar chunk of metal on my wrist, and so I started to look for a replacement. I looked at the infinite number of fashion watches but none of them felt significant. So I started to look at the Seiko automatic range, looking for a watch that spoke to me.

What I found is that although they were nice, there was always one thing that was missing or that I didn’t like. Whether it was a sapphire crystal, hand-winding, or in the case of the Samurai Save the Ocean, the bezel insert felt dated and not entirely right. I thought “if only I could change it.” That’s when I found Seiko mods.

I caught the bug and committed to creating quality, unique timepieces that wouldn’t cost the world.
